ABOUT
I grew up in Switzerland, studied fine art and experimental video in Geneva and electronic imaging in Dundee, and arrived in London in 1994 with a hard drive full of video installations and no idea I was about to spend the next three decades designing for the web. I taught digital design at London Metropolitan university, Camberwell, Greenwich and for fifteen years while building a practice across web, brand and print. S-LOW is what happens when all of that experience finally gets pointed in one direction.
Doing Things Differently
S-LOW is where all of that experience goes to work for the people who need it most. I work exclusively with non-profits, artists, galleries and ethical brands who care about how they show up in the world. My approach prioritises accessibility, simplicity and low-impact digital solutions, because I believe good design should be available to organisations doing meaningful work, not just those with large budgets.
Rather than being driven by profit, my work is guided by a desire to create a better digital world and to support those who may not be able to afford expensive websites.

DIGITAL ARTS
Throughout the 1990s I created experimental video works and installations, exhibiting internationally and receiving several awards in Switzerland. In 2013, I returned to artistic production with a series of profile-picture artworks exploring privacy, surveillance, and digital identity – an exploration that eventually lost relevance with the rise of AI-generated imagery. This artistic experience continues to inform my thoughtful, ethical approach to web design today.
Alongside my design practice, I co-founded It’s a Disaster with my partner, artist Pascal Rousson, a small creative company producing t-shirts, prints and paintings.
